FIM Cup Superstock 1000 - Misano • Ondra Jezek #69

Race on the Adriatic coast in Italian Misano ended the first half of this year's Superstock 1000 Championship.

Unfortunately for Ondra and the whole team, just confirmed the mysery which more or less accompanied all the previous races. Nineteenth place at start and seventeen in the finish of the race is a radiant example. The six-week break before the race the team used mainly for works improving the engine performance. The results obtained at the motor brake were encouraging, however at the track both team riders could again hardly compete with others. Another event is a domestic race in Brno at Masaryk circuit from 9th to 11th of July.

Ondra Jezek:
"I've had one of the worst race weekends. I was not able to accelerate, I still had bad lap times. We are spinning in a circle. Before the Brno race we must take drastic steps as to bring us back into the game in the top ten!"
