At last week's press conference at the headquarters of the Czech representation of Aprilia motorcycles the MS Racing Team from Ceske Budejovice uncovered its plans for this season.

Team owner Martin Smrz introduced a brand new racing special Aprilia RSV4 Factory, with whom the team will start in the Superstock 1000 World Cup. MS Racing after many years of collaboration with Honda is changing the motorcycle brand. The reason for this change was the possibility of direct cooperation with the Aprilia factory.

Team line-up compared with the previous year is thinner by two pilots. Last year's seventh rider in overall standings Ondra Jezek will be followed this season by team rookie Michal Salac.

The team plans the first tests for the beginning of March in Spain. First race will be held during the last weekend of March in Portimao, Portugal.

The fans can see MS Racing Team and its riders at the Masaryk Circuit on 16^th of May, at the Frantisek Stastny Memorial and also in the July's World Superbike Championship.

Ondra Jezek:

„After the seventh place in last year's premiere season I would like this year to speak more clearly into the fight for the highest ranks and win more podium placements. I am glad that the team decided to cooperate with Aprilia. We know that in the preseason tests a lot of work with new technology is ahead of us. However, I believe that everything will be made well and a good result will arrive already in the opening race of the season on the Iberian Peninsula, in Portimao and in Valencia."
